The taxi driver called the Kleinmünchen police station around 2 a.m. on Saturday and called for help. The officers could not believe their ears when they heard the story. The driver and his passenger, a 30-year-old from Traun, were then questioned separately.

It turned out that the taxi driver had taken the 30-year-old on Wienerstrasse in Linz as a passenger. During this ride, the 30-year-old gave the driver several instructions until the situation escalated into a dispute and the passenger suddenly spat all over the taxi. The taxi driver did not hesitate for a moment and drove to the police station. The passenger also behaved aggressively at the police station and did not stop his behavior despite warnings. He was eventually arrested.
