Pedestrian rammed – Alkolenker drove back to the victim after “Tuscher”.

Date:

He was drunk, he knew it, but turned back after hitting a pedestrian. In any case, the 32-year-old Mühlviertler was not a coward who had caused an accident in St. Oswald while under the influence.

The 32-year-old drove his van in Sankt Oswald near Freistadt on Nordwaldkammstraße shortly before half past five in the evening on Friday and overlooked a pedestrian walking along Freistädter Straße. At number 16, the vehicle’s right wing mirror struck the 78-year-old pedestrian walking on the sidewalk. The driver of the accident heard the blow and immediately returned to give first aid to the victim. When he arrived, some passersby were already with the injured man and they also started the rescue chain.

The 78-year-old was injured to an undetermined degree and was admitted to the Freistadt Clinic after first aid. An alcohol test on the 32-year-old showed a blood alcohol level of 1.28 and his driver’s license was provisionally suspended.
