Wild scenes played out in a restaurant in the Tyrolean Ötztal on Sunday evening: the host allegedly threatened a guest with a gun after he refused to leave the restaurant. The police arrived, no one was injured.
The situation in the restaurant escalated shortly before 10 p.m. The exact reason is not yet known. It is possible that the argument came about because the guest was heavily intoxicated.
Cannon removed from car
After the 45-year-old refused to leave the bar during a “tough discussion”, the local owner (34) is said to have removed a gun from his car. “He repeated the gun several times in front of the guest and again asked him to leave the restaurant,” the researchers say.
Son alerted the police
The uninvolved son of the 45-year-old then raised the alarm with the police. When she arrived at the bar, those involved and the host’s vehicle were searched first. The alarm pistol was secured.
Weapon ban imposed
The 34-year-old local owner was given a temporary gun ban. The suspect is also shown. No one was injured. Three police patrols were present.
