Ertzaintza: 127 places
For the first time in the 40-year history of the Basque Academy of Police and Emergency Situations, specialist Ertzaintza jobs in free service are leaving to join traffic units and detective teams.
– 27 places of the base shell of the Ertzaintza. All these functions have a mandatory language profile B2.
– 50 places with a specialty in criminal investigation. Of these, 40 have the compulsory language profile B2.

The Basque Academy of Police and Emergency Situations estimates that the first tests, the psychotechnical and knowledge tests, will be held in the spring of this year, so that this new joint promotion of Euskal Polizia officers can begin their training in the fall of this year and practically joins every police force in 2024.
Requirements
This call is the first to be held in the Basque Country, eliminating the height requirement. It is one of the measures taken by the Basque government and EUDEL to increase the number of policewomen in the Basque Country. In addition, with the same goal, the bases of the call include a mandatory percentage of places to be filled with women in order to achieve that same goal. In this call, that percentage is 35% mandatory in the Ertzaintza and 25% local police.
