In France, a gynecologist has been sentenced to ten years in prison for sexually abused nine patients. He sold his flagrant misconduct to his victims as “medically necessary”.
The court in the eastern French Ministry of Haute-Savoie owed the man on Saturday, according to a lawyer from the Co-Lawsuit. A total of 30 women had reported the doctor, several of them were minors at the time of crime.
Four women accused the man of having permeated them while visiting the practice. Other affected people accused him of ‘massages’ of their genitals or studies in the rectal area, which the doctor had presented medically.
Actions “Not medical, but sexual nature”
Legal lawyer Aurelie Zakar said that the actions of the suspect were “not medical but sexual in nature”. Her customers were believed that thanks to the guilty verdict, they could now “build their lives again”.
The accused from the small town of Bonneville denied all allegations in the process. He now has ten days to appeal.
