In concrete terms, a purchase and sale agreement has been signed with a company from Urbas whereby the listed company agrees to promote 314 turnkey homes.
Urbas has sold two new-build homes for rent in Bilbao to British investment company M&G Real Estate for approximately 98 million euros, the company announced on Wednesday.
The action is in Isla Zorrozaurre, “the new Manhattan” of Bilbaoan area in which Urbas is developing more than 850 homes in addition to the more than 4,300 that make up its residential portfolio to date, with a 45% build-to-rent weight.
Specifically, a purchase and sale agreement has been signed with a company from Urbas whereby the listed company agrees to promote “turnkey” 314 homes, 407 parking spaces and 314 storage areas divided into two towers of 15 and 17 floorswhich will be transferred to the Fund upon completion.
Through this operation, the company will promote and build these rental properties, which in the second half of 2026 will have up to three rooms that can be occupied.
All homes will have view of the estuary and will have common facilities with gardens and children’s play areas, fitness room, private storage room and parking for cars and bicyclesas well as a commercial area of 360 square meters.
