Husband had been absent for a day

At the home address, the woman then reported that she had not reached her 86-year-old husband by telephone since the day before. Officials immediately launched a search because they feared the man could be injured by the minus temperatures and snow.

The assistance dog inspection “Tasso Graz” also supported the search for the missing person. Shortly after 4 a.m., a police dog handler and his Belgian Shepherd “Carlos” found the man unharmed near the scene of the accident. However, he seemed disoriented, both in terms of location and time.
