In the US state of Georgia, a railroad worker saw a poor raccoon on the track who was in a predicament. The little man’s testicles were frozen to the rails – warm water brought relief.
It was minus 12 degrees in Georgia on the day of the accident: a railway worker and his colleague discovered the desperate raccoon on the railway. According to the British newspaper “Evening Standard”, the men could see how the animal was attached to the metal of the rails with its testicles.
Hot water saved the day
Railroad worker Neil Mullis used warm water and a shovel to relieve the male’s pain. After barely five minutes, the animal was free and could run back into the forest.
“I poured the hot water under his butt while a colleague worked with the shovel to pry him loose,” Neil told local media.
