A customer was surprised to find the total daily income of the fast food restaurant in his meal order.
Josiah Vargas really just wanted to buy a Sausage McMuffin at McDonald’s. However, when he looked in the bag with the order in the car, he did not find a burger there, but the total daily income of the restaurant. Apparently, an employee had put the $5,000 (the equivalent of over €4,600) in the wrong bag. Of course he would return the money, Vargas assured in a video showing him with his find in the car – not without admitting that he could use the money well. “Why are you doing this to me? You know how much I want the money,” he tells the camera.
Employees had not even noticed the loss
The fast food restaurant employees couldn’t be happier. With the ironic question whether they would launder money there, he handed them the money. They hadn’t even noticed the interim loss. In gratitude, an employee hugged him.
As a thank you, the honest finder can now eat for free at McDonald’s for a month. He also received the equivalent of 200 euros as a finder’s fee. In a second video, Josiah addresses his followers: “Do good, people!”
