Two boys (both 15 years old) traveling with a Hoftrac: Not a particularly smart idea and certainly not allowed. In the Tyrolean Vomp (Schwaz district), such a “joy ride” had fatal consequences on Sunday.
Around 6 p.m., a 15-year-old was driving a Hoftrac on a municipal road in Vomp. Also on board: A boy of the same age who stood on the running board of the agricultural vehicle.
A fall on the street ends fatally
Suddenly it happened: for reasons still unknown, the passenger suddenly fell on the road and was seriously injured. After first aid at the scene of the accident, the 15-year-old was taken by ambulance to the Innsbruck clinic.
Further investigations are currently underway. Appropriate notifications are then made.
