The former president attended an event in the state of New Hampshire after announcing his candidacy for reelection three months ago.
Former Republican President Donald Trump kicked off his White House campaign with a visit to the state of New Hampshire, where he stated he was “boostier and more committed than ever.” He attended the annual meeting of the Republican State Committee in Salem before heading to South Carolina to begin his first meetings since announcing his re-election bid nearly three months ago amid controversy over the discovery of classified documents in his hometown and the loss of Republican support.
“They (the media) said, ‘He doesn’t hold rallies! He doesn’t campaign! Maybe you missed that step. Now I’m angrier and more committed than ever,’ he snapped.
At the rally, Trump criticized the Democratic Party for attempting to change the calendar of the primaries and ensure that New Hampshire does not remain in first place. He also announced the elimination of federal funding for educational institutions that “promote critical race theory or left-wing gender ideology.”
