Dizziness was discovered – traffic hooligan passed out “fake urine” during a drug test

Date:

A German driver caused a stir in Innsbruck on Monday morning: the 25-year-old drove his car across a street in the Wilten district and was eventually stopped by the Tyrolean police. During the check it turned out not only that the vehicle was a real scrap car, but also that the driver had apparently been drugged. During the ensuing investigation, the suspect attempted to cheat. But the brutal scam was exposed.

Tires spinning and drifting, the German raced down Andreas-Hofer-Strasse in the direction of Egger-Lienz-Strasse. The 25-year-old became the target of a police patrol that immediately stopped the rowdy. The steering wheel was checked and the car inspected. The suspicion that the car was anything but roadworthy was confirmed at first glance.

Serious car defects
Closer inspection proved the officials right. “A technical investigation revealed several serious shortcomings,” the researchers said. But not only the car was not roadworthy, also the driver himself.

“During the check, the driver noticed symptoms that point to a possible impairment by addictive substances,” the police continued. As a result, the 25-year-old was initially offered a voluntary urine test. Which he also did “right”.

Taken to the doctor after cheating
At first everything seemed to go according to plan, but then the suspect was also convicted as a fraud. “After conducting the urine test, the officials were able to determine that the urine provided was ‘fake urine’,” the researchers describe. The German confessed and was eventually presented to the medical officer, who determined that he was unfit to drive.

The suspect had to surrender his driver’s license. In addition, his license plate and registration certificate have been removed. Appropriate advertisements will follow.
