The Jakling and St. Andrä fire brigades moved to the intersection of Mettersdorfer Straße and Ettendorfer Landesstraße (Carinthia) early on Wednesday morning – a head-on collision had occurred there.
At 06:06 the siren went off. The comrades were called to the village of Messensach in St. Andrä, where an accident occurred for unknown reasons. “There was a two-vehicle head-on collision near the intersection. The impact caused one vehicle to end up in the ditch,” says the St. Ändrä fire brigade.
One hour mission
Both drivers had to be taken to Wolfsberg hospital with unknown injuries. After the nine fire brigades had cleaned the street, they were able to return an hour later.
