A 39-year-old skiing holidaymaker from Norway caused quite a stir in Saalbach in the Pinzgau region of Salzburg on Thursday evening. After the man returned from après-ski, he left a trail of destruction.
The Norwegian kicked in the sliding glass door of his hotel. He then climbed onto the porch of a neighboring house and entered an empty apartment through a bathroom window. The window, a sink, a shower screen and a radiator broke.
Fell asleep in someone else’s apartment
In the kitchen, the dishwasher and other furniture suffered before the Norwegian fell asleep in the stranger’s apartment. The police woke up the rioter and took him to the police station. There the man confessed and repented. He said he was just looking for a place to stay.
