Where was he? While a 16-year-old from Mühlviertel slept off his drunkenness in the ventilation shaft of the storage room of a nightclub in Bad Leonfelden (Upper Austria), he was searched for three hours. The bar operator did not discover him until 5:15 am.
The 16-year-old from the Urfahr region celebrated with three friends in a bar in Bad Leonfelden on Friday. Saturday around 2:30 am he went to the toilet and never came back. His friends and his distressed parents initially unsuccessfully searched for the teen in the restaurant and surrounding area. So the parents called the police just before 4 a.m. for help.
Big quest
Due to the severe winter conditions, a search was started immediately after the report, involving all fire brigades in the mandatory area of Bad Leonfelden. The bartender of the now closed bar also searched not only the local premises, but also the surrounding unlocked rooms of the building.
Found after three hours
At around 5:15 a.m., the local operator found the 16-year-old sleeping in a ventilation shaft in a storage room. The teen was finally handed over to his parents around 5:25 a.m., apparently drunk but unharmed.
