From Wednesday, the well-known Frequency Festival will take place again in St. Pölten. The visitors are already in the starting blocks to properly celebrate the 20th anniversary.
The caravans have been moving from the city center again to the south of St. Pölten since Tuesday. Because on the site of the VAZ along the Traisen – after a Corona break of two years – the Frequency Festival will take place again this year. And for the late 20th anniversary, plenty of highlights await the revelers: Bilderbuch, Timmy Trumpet, Anne-Marie, Jason Derulo, RAF Camora, Yung Hurn, Cypress Hill and Apache 207, for example, will be paying their birthday tributes to the festival. With about 150,000 visitors, there should be no shortage of benefactors.
Local stars rock
This means that 50,000 Frequentians meet some 60,000 residents every day – a logistical masterpiece. The extra distribution of bands in the parking lot is intended to keep festival visitors out of residential areas as much as possible. So nothing should stand in the way of a successful festival. As early as Wednesday, all early campers can head to the warm-up party at Prequency, before local stars and international stars rock the stages starting Thursday.
Successful party
There is also a lot to do outside the stages. And for everyone whose fingers are already tingling: the NXP Music Center next to the VAZ supplies all emerging stars with guitars and co. So let’s get to the drums!
