In a bank branch in Görlitz, in the German state of Saxony, a man with illuminated receipts tried to roast a chicken. The police intervened and conducted a drug test.
Unsurprisingly, the 36-year-old man was drugged. The test was positive for amphetamines, police said Monday.
The Tunisian went to the bank branch in the center of Görlitz on Sunday morning, crumpled up some blank receipts, set them on fire and held the chicken he brought with him.
Fire damage of 800 euros
When the police arrived to put an end to the crowds, there was no longer a fire, but the attempted grilling caused a fire damage of 800 euros. Police are conducting an investigation, authorities said.
