During a concert by the rapper Samra in Berlin, 13 people were injured on Saturday, four of them seriously (see video above). According to the Brandbrigade, someone sprayed irritating gas during the appearance in the Neuköllner Gropius passages. Then there was violence.
The injuries were then caused by both the pepper spray and by the handmade. There is no one danger to anyone. The free concert was announced at 4 p.m. According to the spokesperson for the Fire Brigade, many more people came than expected – about 2000 to 3,000 instead of 700. A police spokesperson again estimated that 1,000 people had come to the concert. Close crowds can be seen on video recordings.
The fire brigade was warned around 4.25 pm. Four seriously injured and two somewhat injured were brought to the surrounding hospitals, and seven more light injuries were still treated on location. 42 forces were on site.
Rapper: “Abnormal action”
The event was then terminated and the participants were brought out. “Thank you to everyone who was there. We had so much fun. But I just got a phone call that someone sprayed pepper spray into the crowd. What I think he is a shame – abnormal, dirty action. I hope no one was injured,” said Berlin rapper Samra on Instagram. He thanked the fire brigade and the police.
In total, 13 people were injured in the incident. The police are still investigating. Samra grew up in Berlin and had several top ten hits streamed in billions of times.
