Three were arrested in Vienna’s inner city on Tuesday after they allegedly actively helped their own luck at Casino Vienna. The remarkably high profits made the men extremely suspicious.
An employee of the casino on Kärntner Strasse saw for the first time a man who won remarkably often. He observed what happened on the video recordings and noticed the manipulations, although he tried to hide his activities with a cleverly placed jacket. The police were called and the suspect was arrested.
Since the end of January
According to the police, the alleged fraudster managed to manipulate the roulette machine, which also has a mechanical element. Soon after, his craft was laid to rest. He turned out to have two accomplices who had to take turns bringing their luck to the casino from the end of January to Tuesday. The extent of the damage is still unclear.
No croupier on roulette machines
