In otherwise quiet Bludenz (Vorarlberg), wild scenes played out on Wednesday: Because a 70-year-old did not cross at the zebra crossing, a dispute arose with a motorist. This was then attacked by the pensioner – including with his own snack. That, in turn, did not let the driver down. Now he is threatened with an assault charge.
A 42-year-old driver drove his car through Bludenz at 12:08 p.m. on Wednesday. A 70-year-old pedestrian suddenly crossed the street in Wichnerstrasse – but not at the zebra crossing. This circumstance led to an altercation between the two men. The matter escalated when the pensioner walked to the car, opened the passenger door and grabbed a bag parked in the passenger seat and threw it against the steering wheel.
wanted witnesses
The lunch he was carrying in his bag fell out and soiled both the car and the steering wheel. Now it was enough for the 42-year-old, he got out, ran after his opponent, punched him and knocked him over just like that. Bludenz police are asking witnesses to the ugly incident to come forward.
