Who knows the stranger in the identikit? The police in Lower Austria are asking the population for help. The photo now published shows a man who allegedly grabbed a little girl by the hand in Mistelbach last week and wanted to let her go.
The unknown allegedly promised the six-year-old girl candy in the area of the Mitschastraße – Haydngasse intersection in the city in the Weinviertel during the incident on January 30 around 4 p.m. if she went with him. However, the child’s ten-year-old sister began to scream loudly, two passers-by noticed the scene and rushed to help the siblings. The man fled.
The perpetrator is said to be between 40 and 50 years old and about 1.85 meters tall. He would have short brown hair, dark eyes and a remarkably long nose. The man was wearing a black down jacket and a black cap with white lettering. He probably drove a white / gray car with sliding side doors in the back.
Relevant information is requested from the Mistelbach police inspection on 059133-3260.
