An eight-year-old, nine-year-old and eleven-year-old child were probably on their way to school: They were hit by a car at 6:45 a.m. on Thursday morning as they crossed a protective path in Marburger Straße in Weiz. However, the driver did not stop and simply left the scene of the accident.

But not without traces: a mirror cap and a license plate. This allowed the police to investigate an 87-year-old from the Weiz district. Everything went very fast.
