A drug party in Heidenreichstein in the Waldviertel ended with the dramatic emergency call of a 16-year-old, who – reportedly – took the lives of two girls (14 and 17). The boy was also lying motionless in the 17-year-old’s apartment when rescuers arrived.
Unconscious in the shower
What happened? The trio is said to have used large amounts of synthetic drugs of suspected Czech origin. When one of the girls passed out, the others put her in the shower. The teen woke up again. The boy later reacted desperately when both girls stopped moving and even resuscitation attempts failed – he grabbed his mobile phone.
Drug deaths three years ago
“We determine what the items contain in order to get to the lenders,” emphasizes police spokesman Johann Baumschlager. Explorations are currently being carried out in the area for this purpose, the detectives are working hard. While there is no report of a drug scene in the small town, a 19-year-old was found dead in an apartment there three years ago.
“She Was Always Partying”
The autopsy of the two girls is due to take place on Wednesday, it is said. A resident who knew one of the current drug victims (17) by sight describes: “She was always partying, turning up the music, singing and screaming. There was always something going on.”
