Fire alarm on Wednesday in the early morning hours in the Tyrolean lowlands: A fire destroyed the washroom of an empty family house in Kundl. A newspaper delivery woman had sounded the alarm. According to initial investigation, the fire may have been deliberately lit.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m., the newspaper delivery man noticed the fire in the vacant family home – she immediately made an emergency call. “When the alarmed fire brigade arrived, the annex that used to house the laundry room was already on fire,” said the police.
