Serious allegations – boy abuses students: “Rector knew about it!”

“No mom, I don’t want to wear a dress. I don’t want to go to school. I’m scared.” Completely upset and beside themselves, children would come home for months after classes at a Carinthian primary school.

“A boy kept grabbing his classmates between the legs, children came home with bruises, girls were chased, others were abused!”, several shocked parents of ‘Krone’ describe the terrible incidents. They also approached the director several times. “He knew about it, but did nothing, looked away!”

“Head of Education Knew It”
The Education Department was also approached: “It is unbelievable, but true! Countless questions to those responsible were simply not heard.” The mothers also raised the alarm with the police, the responsible district administration and the mayor. “The Education Directorate was aware of the incidents, but did nothing,” confirms the head of the community, who also attended a meeting with representatives of the Board and the parents.

“After an endless battle, we finally succeeded in transferring the boy. However, it took a long time before anything was done about the rector,” the parents continued. “In a joint conversation, the director of education also insisted that the director would stay, in the end he was transferred to the education department.” What those affected don’t like at all: “It’s crazy. Our children have been harassed and forced for months, the boy has not been helped and the director who has not done his job just gets away with it. Our school system has failed miserably here!”

Teacher takes a stand
An educator who cared for the boy in the afternoon also notes: “The boy who moved to Carinthia had extreme behavioral problems and would have needed extra school support. According to his mother, this was requested but not implemented.”

There is criticism of school psychological care
School psychological care is also strongly criticized: “We have been promised to talk to psychologists regularly so that these incidents can be processed. That only happened once and that was it! Neither the perpetrator nor the victims received any attention!”

“It needs outside consultants”
Youth lawyer Astrid Liebhauser also knows the case: “Youth care must be involved as early as possible, so that possible dangers can be ruled out and the safety of the children is preserved!” And the Carinthian Parents’ Association railed: “The wrong action was taken here. In such cases, external advisers must be consulted!”

The Ministry of Education has not yet commented on the incident. Police investigations are ongoing. It is the presumption of innocence.
