Advance the digital, energy and environmental transition with transformative projects with a focus on decarbonisation. They will be the criteria to which the Basque government will prioritize distribution EUR 600 million in support for SMEs of the CAV in 2023. Of the budget, namely 413,611,315 million euros, 70% goes to R&D+i and technology programs energy transition.
The plan, including 83 programs designed in 12 subject areas, was presented this morning by the Minister of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government, Arantxa Tapia, and the CEO of the SPRI Group, Aitor Urzelai. “It is the real tool to help Basque companies in any sector to face the uncertainties of recent years, but above all to accompany them in their clear pursuit of continuing to create jobs and wealth, to generate the necessary digital energy and environmental transitions, and revitalize the Basque economy based on the inclusive and sustainable model”, both emphasized.
As on previous occasions, the management of the aid will be the responsibility of EVE, Ihobe, URA, Hazi Fundazioa, Elika, as well as SPRI itself, Basque Trade & Investment and the Venture Capital Company. All these companies, coordinated by the department headed by Tapia, will be in charge analyze applications.
The Basque government will organize some of them information days —the next February 24, 27 and 28— in which businesses can find out the details of each of the helplines and find the one that best suits their needs.
Likewise, from today all information will be available both in print and online: they describe the name of the aid or service, the budget for this year, the description and objective, the type of potential beneficiary for whom the aid, the estimated date of publication and a web link where you can request it.
