The pensioner from Styria did not have an easy life – and certainly not in her old age. The living situation alone has exhausted her for decades. She is the only tenant in a house. For years, it seems, the owners wanted them “outside” and filed lawsuits against them.
Since that was not crowned with success – the Styrian woman did not have the opportunity to move for financial reasons – the levers were probably used elsewhere. Necessary renovations have clearly not been carried out.
No hot water, just old furniture
So the moisture not only ruined the floor in the poor apartment, but also the woman’s health. She only has a small oil heater that is supposed to provide heat – but she doesn’t dare turn it on because it’s dripping. The elderly woman does not even have hot water in the house! Only old furniture provides a little comfort.
And the woman is socially isolated, not only because she lives alone in the house, but also because she hardly socializes anymore. She has very bad hearing – but she can’t afford a hearing aid.
Saving on brother’s funeral expenses
Now her brother has also died: she paid for the funeral with the little she had saved. We want to get at least the hearing aid for the woman and of course help with the heating. None of us should live like this.
