Two occupants injured – After collision: BMW rolled onto the highway

Spectacular accident on the night of Tuesday on the Inntalautobahn in the Tyrolean Unterland: a 27-year-old lost control of his BMW and crashed into the concrete barriers. Due to the force of the impact, the car, which was not registered in traffic, flipped over. The driver and another passenger were injured.

The accident happened shortly before 1 a.m. on the A12 near Angath (Kufstein district). The 27-year-old stateless person suddenly left the right lane and crashed into the concrete guardrail. Due to the violent impact, the red BMW was thrown onto the oncoming lane and thus against the guide wall there. The car then flipped over and came to rest on its roof.

Injured prisoners hospitalized
The driver without nationality and his Turkish passenger (20) suffered minor injuries. After first aid at the scene of the accident, they were transported by ambulance to the Kreisziekenhuis Kufstein.

“The car was not registered in traffic. The steering wheel used while driving the license plate of his other car, which is registered for traffic,” the police detectives describe. The BMW was heavily damaged in the accident.

The scene of the accident can only be passed over one lane
Due to the operation and the clean-up work, the A12 at the location of the accident was only passable in one lane until 2:30 am. Appropriate notifications will be made upon completion of the investigations.
