Six points – How a climate protection law makes our lives better

Date:

The “Krone” report on a group of children and young people suing the state of Austria for climate protection made headlines around the world: even the Washington Post and BBC reported. What positive effect a new and functioning climate protection law would have on our whole lives, on our daily lives: six points.

The motivation behind the children’s lawsuit: “We have a climate crisis. If we don’t act now, we will experience unprecedented famine and migration,” says Michael Spiekermann of Fridays for Future. Together with climate lawyer Michaela Krömer and association Claw, the members of Fridays for Future organize and support the lawsuit. The activists list six points where a functioning climate protection law would have a positive impact on our lives.
