Next serious bus accident, this time in Lower Austria: Eleven people were injured in an accident on the B15 near Achau (Mödling district) on Saturday evening. The minibus was full when it allegedly collided with a car. Children are also among the injured.
After the collision, the bus left the roadway and ended up in a ditch. All nine occupants of the bus, including six children, and the two occupants were injured. They were taken to the surrounding hospitals with the rescue service, the Achau fire brigade reported to the APA on Sunday.
Large contingent of rescuers on site
A large contingent of ambulance, police and firefighters was deployed. Following the first report when the emergency services were alerted, two emergency helicopters were also deployed, but they were able to take off again without a patient, explains fire chief Christian Giwiser.
Dead in a coach accident in Schladming
There was already a serious bus accident on Saturday evening. In Schladming, the vehicle fell over an embankment and a 31-year-old passenger from Germany was killed.
