The winter coat is calling – Frosty in the morning, lots of sun during the day

On the eastern edge of the Alps and on Lake Constance, the wind blows strongly from north to east. Early temperatures are minus eight to minus one degree, daily highs are minus one to plus five degrees.

At the end of the meteorological winter in late February, Tuesday high air pressure and cold air masses determine the weather in the Eastern Alps. After the start of the day with partly severe morning frost, the sun shines almost without clouds in many regions. In the southeast alone there are periods of dense, extensive cloud cover during the day. Minus ten to minus three degrees means temperatures below zero degrees throughout Austria in the morning, later it is plus one to six degrees.

Ben Wednesday in general, sunny weather prevails, the fog in the early morning will soon disappear. Only in the Rhine valley and from Carinthia to the southern Viennese basin do some dense clouds occur again and again. It is minus eight to plus one degree at daybreak, three to nine degrees later at most.

As well as on Thursday clear sunny weather often dominates, but in the southern half there is also some extensive cloud cover and, especially in the morning, some raindrops can sometimes fall in South Styria. The lows are between minus seven and plus one degree, the maximum temperatures reach four to almost double digit ten degrees.

Ben Freitag it will be sunny. In the morning there is also local fog, but in the morning it clears up. The meteorologists expect minus nine to minus one degree in the morning and four to nine degrees as maximum values.
