The Nursing Union in Navarre maintains the strike call scheduled for Tuesday after the end without “a concrete and written agreement” the meeting he held this Monday with the Ministry of Health.
The purpose of that meeting, as described in a statement, was to review and assess the administration’s counter-proposal to SATSE’s allegations, which was divided into three major blocks: workload reduction, end of comparative complaints and measures for professional development.
The meeting, which, in the words of the regional secretary, Maria Jose Algarrahas kept on “a politically correct tone, it ended with good feelings due to the apparent will of Salud, but without a written and concrete agreement.”
Meetings at 11am
For this reason, SATSE maintains the strike call, calling for nearly 4,000 nurses and physiotherapists, as well as concentrations at the doors of hospitals and health centers at 11am.
He also points out that “if there is none written concretions and a schedule applicable”, will continue with mobilizations and new strikes.
