According to a letter to Putin, conscripts are being sent to perdition

Date:

The Irkutsk reservists who wrote to Russian President Vladimir Putin three times asking for the transfer of assault units to defense are now deployed as stormtroopers anyway. They are simply sent to their deaths – because they are not prepared accordingly.

Hopes were high – conscripts wanted to write a letter to Kremlin boss Putin to highlight the abuses in the army and hoped to transfer to the defense. Because they lacked the practice and knowledge to work in the storm battalion. The reservists and their relatives reported this to the internet magazine “Ljudi Bajkala”.

“We waited to be transferred to defense, but they are not placing us,” the newspaper quoted a soldier as saying. The governor had promised them that they would be assigned to another unit.

Instead of training, there are only threats
Since the beginning of February, mobilized people from the Irkutsk region have contacted the Russian authorities and President Putin three times and described the abuses in the army. It said that due to lack of training they could not complete all the assignments because they did not have the right knowledge or experience. If they brought this to the attention of the military leadership, they received only threats in return.

Soldiers are treated as “consumables”.
For example, they would be told that they could be held responsible for desertion. There is no trace of human rights. On the contrary, they were forced to think they were just “consumables”. They could only go home if they were injured – that was the only chance.

Phrases like: “Then we will send you an offensive from which you will not return.” It also happened that those who disobeyed orders were shot without batting an eyelid.
