On Wednesday morning there was a bloody attack in Vienna-Floridsdorf. A 36-year-old man is said to have stabbed an ex-girlfriend (45) twice in the thigh with a butterfly knife in her apartment. The victim was then able to flee to her neighbours. The 36-year-old was arrested.
After the woman was attacked with a knife, she was able to lock her ex-boyfriend in a room in the apartment and seek shelter with her neighbor. The woman immediately alerted the police.
Ex-boyfriend denies the allegations
When officers from the Kürschnergasse police station arrived on the scene, the 36-year-old was immediately arrested. Police also seized the weapon and a small amount of drugs. The man denies the allegations.
The 45-year-old’s superficial stab wounds were treated by the Viennese professional rescue service. The woman did not come to a hospital at her own request.
