Passengers who have booked a flight with Austrian Airlines (AUA) before Tuesday should expect delays, rebookings or flight cancellations – nearly three dozen flights have been affected. A flight crew working meeting is expected to disrupt flight operations, the airline told APA.
Destinations in Central Europe are particularly affected by the adjustments, according to the current status 34 flights and about 1700 passengers. “Austrian Airlines long-haul destinations can currently be served regularly,” the AUA announced. The airline has already actively informed passengers who provided a telephone number or e-mail address when booking about flight adjustments and rebookings.
Work meeting for the KV
The Works Council of the Management Board invites the approximately 3,200 members of the Management Board to a staff meeting at 9:00 am. “It’s hard to say how many employees are coming,” says Rainer Stratberger, works council member on board. He expects 600 to 1000 participants. After all, many employees are on the road or on vacation. During the work meeting, the on-board personnel must be informed of the faltering renegotiations of the collective labor agreement (KV).
