Boy had NS video – How 13 seconds (almost) ruined a young life

Date:

A shaky cell phone movie sequence. A Hitler salute. Justitia initially shows no mercy when it comes to such violations of the prohibition law – and dragged a 19-year-old from Klagenfurt before the jury. The lay judges were more merciful: an acquittal followed with a 5:3 vote.

As reported, an (invalid) Nazi reactivation suit was filed at the regional court in Klagenfurt against a former top FP politician for placing three banned Nazi runes on a wooden fence. If a trial comes, the jury must decide on the “attitude” of the blue ex-grande – i.e. whether he had applied the runes as a “protective symbol”, as was once claimed, or whether he wanted to glorify National Socialism . Everything depends on this in such procedures.

Jurors felt sorry
A young man from Klagenfurt, who also sat before the assize court under judge Michael Schofnegger on Wednesday for violating the prohibition law, was lucky. It was believed that he did not want to glorify the Nazis with the 13-second Hitler salute video – he was just doing something stupid.

“He has problems, but I never noticed anything from the right in him,” his foster mother also assured. And describes that the suspect did not have an easy life before taking him into her family: “The parents quarreled violently and did not take good care of him. That affected him so much as a child that he still vomits in the morning like a pregnant woman and sick a lot.” acquitted him by a vote of 5:3.
