Sick and injured pigs
Poor air quality is caused by excrement under the fully slatted floor, which makes the animals sick. Extreme stress from being unemployed causes many pigs to bite each other’s tails. The bloody wounds become inflamed – the animals should be separated for treatment, but apparently this is not happening. Pigs with huge abscesses on various body parts and a young pig desperately struggling with death can be found in this animal factory – which is also supported by the state of Carinthia and the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Animal Factory Association even published a video that it had received exclusively from animal rights activists.
