A ten-year-old was hit by the car of a 74-year-old in Niederwaldkirchen on Friday and was seriously injured. The girl got off a bus and wanted to cross the street.
The 74-year-old from Altenfelden drove his car around 5:20 p.m. on the L1522 from Niederwaldkirchen towards Sankt Ulrich. In the vicinity of Witzersdorf, municipality of Niederwaldkirchen, a bus had stopped at a bus stop.
Girl crossed the street behind bus
A ten-year-old schoolgirl from Ortisei got out and crossed the road behind the stationary bus. She was hit by the 74-year-old’s car and fell to the ground. The girl suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to a children’s hospital after first aid from the emergency doctor.
