Serious death in Vienna: On Friday, a 26-year-old man fell from the 4th floor of an apartment in the Alsergrund district. Witnesses saw the fall and called the rescue team. Despite resuscitation measures by the Viennese professional rescue service, the man died at the scene of the accident.
According to the Viennese police, the 28-year-old housemate of the deceased stated at the scene that he himself had jumped out of the window under the influence of drugs. The housemate was temporarily detained, since third-party debt cannot yet be ruled out.
The detectives hope that a forensic autopsy, securing evidence and hearing witnesses and the suspect will shed more light on the circumstances of the death.
