Witnesses in Vienna-Währing said they saw two people dressed in dark interacting with a van around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. A short time later, the vehicle was on fire. Police are investigating arson.
The Viennese Criminal Investigation Service is currently investigating possible arson in the Währing district. The pickup truck caught fire in a public parking lot. During the official act, the police of the Halirschgasse police station found damage to the wing mirrors and windscreens of four cars parked in the immediate vicinity.
The researchers do not rule out that there is a connection between the damage. A search is now underway for the alleged fire devils.
