On the M1 motorway, which connects Budapest to Vienna, a storm raged on Saturday afternoon, which, according to media reports, suddenly caused a cloud of sand and dust. 42 vehicles, including five trucks, are believed to have collided with each other due to poor visibility. 19 vehicles caught fire.
Body found in burnt-out car
As police announced late Saturday night, a body was found in one of the vehicles that had burst into flames in the collision. 39 people, including ten children, were injured and taken to hospitals.
