On Monday around 8 am, the demonstrators flattened the Wienzeile, as they had done before. There will likely be delays in morning traffic at the aftermarket.
Already after the ten-day stabbings in February – activists of the last generation of AT paralyzed morning traffic in Vienna from 13 to 23 February – the demonstrators already announced new demonstrations for March. However, the group did not officially announce the date in advance.
Monday it was that time again. Not for the first time, the Last Generation AT causes chaos on the Naschmarkt. Around 8 a.m., numerous activists gathered there again and posted on the street. But not only in Vienna does the climate group cause annoyance, also in Graz.
In the capital of Styria, the climate stickers have closed the Glacisstraße. Police are already on duty to disperse the gathering as quickly as possible.
There were also demonstrations in Austria last Monday. While it is Vienna and Graz’s turn this Monday, last week it was Innsbruck and Salzburg where climate glue paralyzed the streets.
