Spectacular action Monday shortly after 5:30 p.m. in Graz: Police stopped a packed tram to arrest a suspect of bodily harm.
A 27-year-old from Graz is said to have hit a 22-year-old in the face on Monday evening at the stadium in Graz-Liebenau. Both were heavily intoxicated, the victim said the 27-year-old had approached him for no reason.
He then fled to a tram line 4 towards Jakominiplatz.

At the height of the Stadthalle, however, the suspect had passed: a police car drove in front of the tram and forced it to stop. The officers searched for the troublemaker, who they eventually found and got out of the vehicle.
