The horrifying incident is said to have taken place in February: four men (late 20s to early 50s) fixed a colleague on an operating table, ORF Tirol reports. The pretext was to practice patient positioning.
Victim currently unable to work
The old employee was shocked after the attack and is currently unable to work. She reported the men. The colleagues justified themselves by saying that they had only “joked”. This met with little understanding, the quartet has since left the job.
Now the police are investigating, among other things, suspicion of deprivation of liberty. Nursing director Stephan Palaver emphasized: “In the nursing sector, 80 percent are women and therefore we must ensure safe and undisturbed work. The behavior of the men was unacceptable.”
