In photos, an American Akita looks like it can’t hurt anyone. When an 11-year-old boy got too close to him while he was eating, the dog bit the child in the face. The injured has been taken to hospital.
An eleven-year-old from Pregarten was bitten on Saturday around 3 p.m. by a dog he had known for a long time in the municipality of Windhaag near Perg. The boy was visiting his grandmother in the garden of a 43-year-old friend.
While he was playing, the man’s three-year-old dog was also in the yard. When the American Akita apparently felt disturbed by the child’s eating, it suddenly bit and caught it in the face.
The boy was taken to Kepler University Hospital with unknown injuries.
