The discovery of a 42-year-old, which she made in her newly rented allotment garden, led to the use of explosives in Vienna-Floridsdorf on Saturday afternoon. The woman noticed the suspicious object, which strongly resembled a hand grenade, around 2:30 p.m. and reacted correctly.
Because the 42-year-old immediately alerted the police, who in turn had colleagues who were experts in the field of explosives and inspected the object more closely. Then the Cobra’s deactivation service was called in, which took over the deletion.
According to the police, the 42-year-old’s find was actually a grenade, but it was apparently only used for training purposes, was empty, unusable and therefore harmless.
