A major fire has badly damaged the main stage. But the “Tomorrowland” festival in the Belgian tree should still take place according to plan. There were no injuries in the fire. The cause of the fire has not yet been clarified.
The festival management said that the campsite was opened as planned as planned on Thursday. You work intensively on solutions for the first festival weekend. There were no injuries in the fire. About 400,000 visitors from more than 200 countries are expected in the next two weekends.
Fireworks could be heard and seen on the video recordings of the huge fire published on the internet, which exploded uncontrollably. With a few hundred thousand visitors, “Tomorrowland” is one of the largest electrical festivals worldwide. This year’s edition is under the motto “Orbyz”. More than 600 performances on different phases are planned by Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte and the Swedish house Mafia. The festival site is located in the Belgian community of Boom between Brussels and Antwerp.
