Almost four months ago, a prisoner (31) had not returned after leaving the Feldkirch prison in Upper Austria. Now the Gambier was caught in Linz.
Due to a dispute, a patrol was ordered to Hummelhofstraße in Linz around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. A 31-year-old citizen from Gambia was found there and checked. The police officers discovered that the man was a prisoner who had not returned from Feldkirch Prison.
On the run since December 9
He had failed to return from an exit by December 9, 2013, and has been on the run ever since. The 31-year-old was arrested and taken to the Linz Correctional Institution. He will be transferred to the Feldkirch Correctional Facility in the coming days.
