The car ride of a 39-year-old man ended on Tuesday morning with a fire service. In Viktorsberg in Vorarlberg, the car crashed off an embankment from a snowy road. The driver was unharmed.
At 5:40 a.m., the 39-year-old drove his Mercedes into the snowy Viktorsberg. On a left turn, the car suddenly skidded. The driver lost control, went over the edge of the road and eventually slid a few feet down a steep embankment. The car was stopped by a wooden pole.
The alarmed fire brigade secured the car with a cable and kicked a footpath that was in the immediate vicinity of the car parked “slanted”. The Mercedes was then carefully lowered onto the cleared path. The 39-year-old man was able to steer his car back on the road. Fortunately, the driver survived the incident completely unharmed.
