A pedestrian from Linz was run over and killed by a semi-trailer while making a turn in Pasching on Tuesday. There was no more help for the man, the 62-year-old died instantly.
A fatal traffic accident involving a pedestrian took place in the municipality of Pasching on Tuesday. A 42-year-old Lithuanian drove his trailer on the road of the industrial estate. To get to the right address, he had to turn his vehicle at Industriepark 22 and reverse first. He then drove off to the front left.
Run over with tires on the right side of the vehicle
At that moment, a 62-year-old from Linz walked right in front of the car. The collision occurred and the pedestrian was run over with all tires on the right side of the vehicle.
Any help came too late for the man
First aid measures were immediately initiated by trained paramedics from a nearby company. For the man, however, all help came too late and the emergency doctor could only confirm his death.
